This blog starts to fly in this moment, and for the occasion, we are going to get on the wing of the major commercial aircraft of the world, the A380. Some weeks ago, an issue was discovered (http://goo.gl/NeJcR): cracks in the wings due to a quality defect in the process. According to Airbus the cracks didn’t affect the safe operation of the aircrafts. The aircrafts flew several days before be fixed.
The security controls at the airport and the capacity response of the builder are remarkable. All is properly controlled and when an issue show up all people is ready. The time is not spent to laments. The time is spent to find a proper solution in a reasonable time. This is a great industrial positive thinking.
In my opinion, we have to convert the issue into a challenge and try to enjoy. In the overcoming of challenges lies the value added of people. The complex industrial processes are not ours enemies, are ours allies, because they distance us with competitors less developed. If it works together in a high value added product, with intelligence and technology, it will walk in the right direction.
